Brine Shrimp eggs
1 tablespoon of Brine Shrimp eggs. For use with the Apologia Marine Biology course. Brine shrimp are often used as feed for tropical fish, they are also known as "Sea Monkeys"! It's not too hard to hatch your own brine shrimp. Disolve 1 tablespoon of non-iodized salt in 1 quart of room temperature, untreated tap water. The shrimp should hatch out in just a few days, and can either be used as food for your tropical fish, of you can keep them as pets and feed them yeast.
