This is a kit for serious chemistry students who want more challenging lab experiences! It contains 26 chemicals, 27 pieces of equipment, a handy storage container, and a manual with 17 lessons. The kit contains sufficient supplies for every experiment to be completed 5 times.

Winner of Homeschooling Parent Best in Science 2004, Quality Science Lab's MicroChem Kit provides instruction at a college-preparatory level. It is intended as the laboratory component of a chemistry course and works well with any quality chemistry curriculum.

Additionally,  to better assist our homeschool customers, the labs are designed to coordinate with:
  • A Beka CHEMISTRY Precision & Design
  • 2nd Edition ACE Ministries School of Tomorrow Chemistry Series, 1996 Edition
  • Alpha Omega Publications, Science Grade 11, Chemistry
  • Apologia (Wile) Exploring Creation with Chemistry, 2nd Edition
  • BJU Press, CHEMISTRY for Christian Schools, 2nd Edition
  • Christian Light's Science 1100 Chemistry
  • Glencoe Science, Chemistry: Matter and Change

The MicroChem Kit is designed in order to make teaching and preparation very convenient. This chemistry lab course is based on the Microscale method which uses about 1/100th of the chemicals a typical lab would consume. The chemical reagents are supplied in dropper bottles that are ready-to-go and do not require any mixing or further preparation. Dropping bottles facilitate the Microscale method, simplify classroom management, and help students stay organized and avoid spills, errors and inconsistencies. There are no concentrated acids or bases in the kit. The equipment provided is mostly plastic which reduces breakage.
