The course concentrates on marine wildlife and marine habitats and provides a survey of the members of each biological kingdom that live in marine environments. Dust off your microscope from first-year biology because you’ll need it again for this course! You will be using a new set of prepared slides and dissecting a new set of marine critters. The new dissection specimens are the dogfish shark, clam, and starfish, and you’ll also study brine shrimp eggs, natural sponge, and a non-living coral specimen.
